What does a bike repair in Zurich cost at VELOV?
A flat tire is CHF 99 all-in including travel, tube and safety check. A full bike service ranges from CHF 129 (Minimal) to CHF 229 (Full). E-bike service from CHF 179, cargo from CHF 199. You get the fixed price confirmed on WhatsApp before we start.
Do you really come to my home?
Yes — that's our whole model. We come to you by cargo bike: home, office, underground garage or the station. In the city of Zurich we're usually there in 25–45 minutes. You don't even need to be present.
How fast are you in an emergency?
In the city of Zurich (all 12 districts) max 45 minutes, often 25–35. We have five depots spread across the city, so travel is short. Send us your location and a photo on WhatsApp.
What days and hours do you work?
Seven days a week, 07:00 to 20:00 — including Saturday and Sunday. Weekend demand for bikes is highest exactly when most shops are closed.
Do you repair e-bikes too?
Yes, mechanically all brands (Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Brose, Bafang, Mahle): brakes, gears, chain, sensors, display swap, error-code reading. No battery internals — for safety we leave those to the manufacturer.
Which parts of the city do you cover?
All 12 Zurich districts plus the outskirts (Schlieren, Kilchberg, Thalwil, Adliswil, Wallisellen, Dietikon, Dübendorf, Opfikon). Each district has its own page with local ETA.
What does travel cost?
Free in the city with service packages, CHF 49 for standalone single repairs. In the outskirts there's a CHF 25–45 surcharge by zone. Flat tire CHF 99 and emergency CHF 129 already include travel.
How do I pay?
TWINT (most common), card, cash or invoice — you decide on site. Companies are billed monthly, net 30 days.
